In a bibliometric analysis of ongoing IMI projects EU-AIMS in it's short life was rated the best IMI project on various performance measures.
On scientific output:
- EU-AIMS has the highest citation impact to date of all IMI projects and 4 times the world average impact.
- EU-AIMS has the highest percentage of highly cited papers (42% of EU-AIMS publications are in the top decile of publications for journal category and year of publication).
On interactions with distinct stakeholders:
- External funding/support from Autism speaks and other advocacy organisations and interactions with key regulatory agencies such as EMA and FDA
